Fall 2024 Concert

December 14 at 7:30 Chapin Hall at WIlliams College

Led by Artistic Director Anna Lenti, the Northern Berkshire Chorale performs Mozart’s glorious Regina Coeli (K.108) and the reverent Requiem Mass by José Mauricio Nunes Garcia (1767-1830), an Afro-Brazilian musician and composer who rose from poverty to become Master of the Royal Chapel during the residency of Portugal’s King João VI in Brazil. $15 suggested donation.

Fall 2024 Season

Rehearsals start Monday, September 9 at 7pm in Presser Choral Hall, Bernhard Music Center, on the Williams Campus. Repertoire will include Nunes Garcia’s Requiem and Mozart’s Regina Coeli. Concert date will be December 14.

Spring 2024 Concert

May 18 at 7:30 in Chaplin Hall at Williams College

Music written by and for the women of 17th and 18th century Italy, featuring works by Galuppi, Leonarda, Peruchona and Vivaldi. $15 suggested donation.

Fall 2022 Concert: December 17 at 7:30 in Chapin Hall, Williams College

After over two years off due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Northern Berkshire Choral proudly presents its return to the concert stage this Saturday, December 17, at 7:30, in Chapin Hall.

Please join us for the brilliant and dramatic Mozart’s Requiem, along with Mendelssohn’s sublime Hear My Prayer for soprano solo and chorus and two glorious motets by Bruckner.

$15 suggested donation, masks recommended for audience members.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – MARCH 14 CONCERT POSTPONED!

The concert scheduled for Saturday March 14th has been postponed in alignment with Williams College’s current policy on events due to concerns regarding the Corona Virus. A new date will be announced in early May. We will share that information as soon as we have it, and hope you will plan to join us for a wonderful program on the new date.

Please note that the date of the Northern Berkshire Chorale’s first spring concert has been changed to Saturday March 14, still at 8:00pm, in the Thompson Memorial Chapel on the Williams College campus.

 “I Was Glad” features “Gloria” by John Rutter and other works for Choir, Brass, and Organ, by Parry, Purcell, and Bruckner. 

The program is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

The final concert will be Friday May 29, 8:00pm, in Chapin Hall on the Williams College campus and features Mendelssohn’s Elijah, with full orchestra. 
Concerts free with $10 suggested donation.
